Potentially. Wraps can either be custom printed or a specialty material can be selected. Specialty materials range in colors and finishes, so based on the selection, pricing is subject to change. However, for custom printed wraps, price is based on the coverage and material used. Not coloring. So the sky is the limit for design! The amount of colors chosen will not affect price.
A wrap typically stays in good condition for 3-5 years as long as it’s properly maintained. In Texas, due to weather conditions, the lifespan of a wrap could be slightly shorter. To maximize your investment, here are a few tips to maintain a wrapped vehicle:
Yes! Whether you'd like an installation to stay in place for a couple hours, couple weeks, or a couple years, there are product that will fit every need. Most temporary installations are achieved by using a vinyl made with a removable adhesive so no residue is left behind.
Glass, glass-like acrylic/plexi, concrete, drywall, painted surfaces, cinder
block or brick type masonry, metal, tile, mirrors, and more. To ensure proper adhesion and safe removal
(if applicable), it is highly recommended to have Shorty’s Wraps take a look at the exact application
site and material of application site to ensure the correct type of vinyl is used.
For vehicle wraps, if the original paint is in good condition and the clear coat
is intact, vinyl is a great option for custom wraps or commercial branding. If the vehicle has failing
paint or an older finish, an inspection on the vehicle by Shorty’s Wraps personnel is recommended to see
if it’s something we can work with.
For other applications, Shorty’s Wraps is diligent in making
sure proper testing is done prior to wrapping any surface – especially if it’s temporary. We pride
ourselves in using the proper materials based on the application to reduce/eliminate the risk of damage.

A full wrap on a vehicle typically takes 3-5 days depending on the

For event installations, we do our best to work within the time frame given by the venue.
Typical installations for evening events can be complete that same morning. If additional labor is
needed to complete the project, no problem! We do what it takes to make sure your event is set and ready
with plenty of time prior to guests arriving.
To some extent, yes. However, vinyl is typically thin and while it will help with smaller scratches or debris, larger rocks or tree branches can penetrate the vinyl. Good news is, the vinyl does offer some protection so the damage to the vehicle will likely be less than if the vehicle wasn’t wrapped
